UNITING CHURCH THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE

A 4 day intensive to be held at Norval in the Grampians Open to those lay and ordained

It is our pleasure to announce that the Synod Standing Committee has appointed the Rev Dr Monica Melanchthon as the Professor of Old Testament within the CTM as of 1 May 2012.

This beautifully directed movie, featuring the Férét family, is reminiscent of a fairytale. We are transported by stagecoach through a winter wonderland, and then oscillate between an abbey straight out of The Sound of Music and no less than the Palace of Versailles. The court costumes are exotic.

The Board of the CTM completed a Review of Education for Ministry late 2010. Attached is the report and the decisions of the Board based upon that review. It launches a new phase in the life of the CTM and the Theological College as the new intiatives are implemented framed upon the goal of 'Personal Formation for Ministry in a Multicultural Church.

Recently commissioned as a Pastor within the Uniting Church, and as Lay Leadership Educator within the Centre for Theology and Ministry, Rohan Pryor is excited by the leadership challenges ahead for the Uniting Church.
