New grounded walk announced! Details below.Grounded offers artists opportunities to respond to both the Earth, their experience of walking the Earth, and their faith response. The project will be based on a series of regional walks, whether an afternoon parkland stroll, or a longer three day hike, or a contemplative labyrinth walk. Starting with the act of walking, then grounding that experience with processes using the earth, stones and leaf litter we’ve encountered. Artists will be invited to return to their own studio to consider our relationship to the Earth, to wilderness, or our urban place and create artworks in response. Exhibition opportunities will develop out of these explorations in regional centres.
