- 3-9 National Christian Youth Convention (NCYC)
An overview of the New Testament; skills and resources for interpreting and proclaiming the New Testament in contemporary contexts. Includes pre-reading and assignments.

The first of three PoD days. This one is for new and potential participants and mentors with information on expectations, goals, placements and the mentoring relationship.

- 3-13 UFT Intensive: Caring & Teaching
- 9-11 Lay Education Intensive - Planning & Leading Worship
What is worship? How do I pick music and prepare prayers? How does the context for worship affect planning? How do I proclaim the Word? What resources are available? What can I do differently? What have I learnt of about worship leadership that I can share? Includes pre-reading and assignments.
- 12 UFT Final Enrolment day for Semester 1
- 14 Resource Expo – Children & Families
An opportunity to review a huge range of resources for anyone engaged in ministry with children and families. A great way for Sunday School teams to start the year.
- 17-19 Resourcing Resource Ministers
This event is for Ministers whose primary role is to resource others for ministry. This year we will focus on resourcing people for mission.
- 20 Uphold One Another in Prayer - Training Day for group leaders
- 21 Music Resourcing Day
Worship leaders are invited to revisit and rediscover the riches contained in Together in Song, be introduced to new contemporary music and share ideas for music leadership in smaller faith communities.
- 23 UFT Semester 1 teaching begins
- 27-1 Mar Lay Education Intensive - Digging into the New Teastament (1)
An overview of the New Testament; skills and resources for interpreting and proclaiming the New Testament in contemporary contexts. Includes pre-reading and assignments.

- 5 Field Education Supervisor Training
- 13-15 UFT Intensive: History of Christian Spirituality pt 1 - Prayer of the Desert
- 14 Leadership09 -
This day will focus on creating a space for young people and leaders to discern their gifts/areas of interest and get some training.
- 21 Lay Education Workshops
First day of electives designed to provide opportunities for leaders and potential leaders to develop and hone skills for ministry. Topic suggestions welcome.
- 26 Field Education Supervisor Training
- 27-29 Lay Education Intensive - Digging into the New Teastament (2)
