Retreats and Quiet Days
Retreat
Taking a retreat is a formative and renewing experience. There are many opportunities for reatreat experiences in the life of the church. You could organise a personal retreat or join a group. You might like to ask a retreat leader to facilitate a program in your community or join one of the many retreats provided ecumenically.
Personal Retreats at the CTM
The CTM is a great location for a personal quiet day or retreat with the library down the corridor, Lygon Street round the corner and wonderful parklands over the road.
The CTM has appointed a room you can book for personal day retreats. This is a discrete comfortably appointed ground floor room.
After June, accommodation will be available for overnight retreats. Small groups could book in for short self guided or guided retreats.

Training for retreat leaders
It is said God rests on the Sabbath to listen to our stories. Retreats create sacred space for quiet reflection and attentiveness to God’s Spirit dwelling within us, and our communities
