Formational Children's Ministry by Ivy Beckwith

This latest book from Ivy Beckwith (author of 'Postmodern Children's Ministry which is possibly the second-best Children&families book written in the past five years) focuses on shaping faith through story, ritual and relationship. See here for synopsis and reviews.

Think Orange by Reggie Joiner

This book has the potential to radically reorient ministry with children and families. Encouraging parents and the church to work in partnership, Think Orange points to ways that will engage parents and the church in an integrated strategy of mission, ministry and evangelism with children. See here for a fuller description, here for more about Orange and here for even more Orange thinking.

Justice in the Burbs by Will and Lisa Samson

A compelling argument for living justly in an unjust world, journey with a young family as they learn to act on the issues of justice that abound in their local neighbourhood. This is a much needed invitation for justice to flow through the suburbs like mighty waters Shane Claiborne. See here for more comments.
