Two Very Special Events

This is a very special and important training event for churches, focused on being welcoming places for families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It is likely you have encountered families with ASD children through the early childhood ministries in your church – if not, it is highly probable that you will at some stage. As churches we are called to be welcoming to all, to uphold the vulnerable and care for the weak, so supporting families in our church and local community is important. Children with ASD have specific needs and concerns that require specialist knowledge and understanding. This event will provide practical and helpful information to aid churches in including children with ASD in their children’s/youth ministry and providing support and care to their families.

When: Wednesday 4th September @ 7.15 p.m.

Where: Ringwood Community Church, 1 Tamar Street Ringwood
Who: Anyone involved in children’s/youth ministry or church leadership

This free event is sponsored by CCCVaT – however registration is required. Contact jenny@glolead.org if you have any questions.

To be launched by Professor Allan Fels AO, former Chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and now a Commissioner on the Victorian Royal Commission into Mental Health, this new guide is an invaluable resource for congregations.
