Playgroup/Pre-school Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice program launching August 2015

Places for ministers, pastors and leaders with responsibility for leadership of Playgroup/Pre-school ministries are now available in the Playgroup-oriented Communities of Practice scheduled to commence this month in Werribee and Frankston.

Each geographically focused Community of Practice will include around eight leaders, initially meet fortnightly for six sessions and be facilitated by Beth Barnett from the VCCE. Expressions of interest are also invited from those keen to be part of an eastern suburbs Playgroup-oriented group. To register or express interest, email chris.barnett@ctm.uca.edu.au.

In addition to these Playgroup/Pre-school Communities of Practice, further opportunities are being explored around other areas of focus (eg. missional expressions, intergenerational engagement, Messy Church and general Children & Families ministry practice).

If you are interested in being part of a Community of Practice focused on any of these ministry areas, please email chris.barnett@ctm.uca.edu.au. In addition to people from metropolitan Melbourne, Chris is especially keen to hear of interest from anyone in the Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong regions.
