It promotes the freedom to reflect about themes and issues in multi-faith and secular communities around Australia. Many of the Prize finalists reflect on cultural negotiations made on and around the human body. In what ways does this exhibition portray the concept of humans made in the Divine image? Join us for some dynamic dialogue on these topics.
The symposium begins with an Atmospheric Concert on Thursday evening in Toorak Uniting Church. Performers include musicians, David Jones, Suzette Herrft, and poet and storyteller, Clare Coburn. Friday engages diverse panellists in conversations with art, and Saturday offers opportunities to respond to the exhibition in visual arts workshops and poetry.
