Australia & “The Divine Image” Symposium

It promotes the freedom to reflect about themes and issues in multi-faith and secular communities around Australia. Many of the Prize finalists reflect on cultural negotiations made on and around the human body. In what ways does this exhibition portray the concept of humans made in the Divine image? Join us for some dynamic dialogue on these topics.

The symposium begins with an Atmospheric Concert on Thursday evening in Toorak Uniting Church.  Performers include musicians, David Jones, Suzette Herrft, and poet and storyteller, Clare Coburn.  Friday engages diverse panellists in conversations with art, and Saturday offers opportunities to respond to the exhibition in visual arts workshops and poetry.

Bring a friend, a partner, or a young person to engage the conversation with you.  The early bird rate offers a generous discount, and includes an additional concert for bookings made before 12 April.

Cost: Early bird rate $160 for full program until 12 April, other price points available
