For Presbytery personnel and members of committees involved in discernment, selection, oversight and mentoring of individuals in their period of discernment and formation.
During the day we want to engage with you on what is happening, what might be happening, and what you wish was or wasn’t happening in discernment, selection and formation.
The day will cover the following:

Selection for ministry in the 21st century
How Presbyteries can best support and prepare their candidates
- Formation for Ministry
The structure of the Formation Programme including
Formation Focus Weeks and Wednesday Formation

Possibilities for formation in Melbourne and beyond
Formation Panels during Candidature
Pilgrim College and academic pathways
- Presbytery experiences shared
How can the Centre for Theology & Ministry best support Presbyteries and
Presbytery people, including mentors, in POD,
selection and candidate processes?
Cost: A contribution of $5 for lunch will be appreciated.
