A wonderful Continuing Education opportunity from PILGRIM THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE
Course code: DL2400P-DL9400P
Have you spent time recently reflecting theologically on your community’s liturgical life? Would you like outside input to deepen your approach to liturgy in the 2st Century church? In this unit you will explore kinaesthetic and other arts used in worship, and reflect on the pastoral, public and representative vocation of the one who presides.
This unit will expose you to insights from ecumenical liturgical renewal and liturgical theology as these relate to the missional vocation of the church. Special attention is given to Anglican and Uniting contexts of worship, and a significant portion of the unit will be given to embodied and enacted liturgical practice.
Consider enrolling (as a full credit or audit student) with a few colleagues, then forming a Peer Learning Group afterwards focussing on exploring, in an ongoing way, your liturgical practice in the light of the insights from the unit. There are Continuing Education grants to assist with both auditing costs, and to support a Peer Learning Group. https://ctm.uca.edu.au/resources/funding-scholarships/
