Space for story: Playfulness and Story

Do you need some story nurture?

Would you like to dedicate some undistracted time to dwelling, soaking and basking in story?

Well-crafted words can speak to the soul and call forth new awareness. Join us on a STORYTELLING RETREAT.

2019 STORYTELLING RETREATS across the year:

Four Saturdays
20 July, 21 September, 19 October, 23 November. Enrol in the full series, or any single day(s).

Times:
9.30am-3.30pm

Three beautiful venues:
Riddells Creek, Phillip Island, Parkville. Led by teachers, alumni and friends of Art of Story.

Format:

Storytelling, artmaking, journaling, walking, stillness and silence. An undistracted space will be hosted and held for you. Feel welcomed, relaxed, nourished.

How the day unfolds:

The first hour will hold a morning telling led by skilled storytellers, followed by the opportunity to bring the stories and your own experience into your inner conversation as you choose – go for a solo walk, write and use art materials. For the final hour we re-gather and are free to share some of the gifts of the day should we choose. Delicious treats, teas and coffee will be provided. Simple artmaking materials are included in the price.

BYO packed lunch to eat in the venue or have as a solo picnic on
your walk.
