Darron Davies, a three-time Blake Prize finalist, has an abiding interest in the play of light and its resulting spiritual meanings: light that writes into a camera, light that beautifully and mysteriously reflects through glass, and light that creates a metaphor for the travellers – or many forces at work – that shape and have shaped our world: volcanic, primordial, celestial, or atomic.
The camera and its resulting photographs capture an extraordinary world at play within light and colour fields.
