Grants to attend Yuróra
Wednesday, November 2, 2016
We know attending Yuróra will raise the passion, deepen the discipleship, and energise the faith of your young people by putting their faith into action in the world. Yuróra means ‘passionate’.
To encourage and enable young people who otherwise may not be able to attend, UCA Youth and the Centre for Theology and Ministry (CTM) are providing a limited number of $500 grants for NCYC 2017 participants. General admission is for anyone aged 16-25 who is ready to jump into an amazing 5-day festival experience at Stanwell Tops NSW from 8-12 January 2017.
UCA Youth and the CTM will prioritise financial support for young people from CALD communities and those who otherwise would not be able to participate in this national gathering of Uniting Church youth and young adults. This approach is in line with the Synod’s strategic priorities for 2016–2022: foster diverse gathered communities of renewal, Christian practice and mission; culturally diverse mission and ministry; and mission and ministry with children, youth, their families and young adults.
To take advantage of this offer, please help your young people:
1) Register for Yurora NCYC2017 to receive their ID Confirmation code
2) Complete this form and return it to
